Hello Ben,
Thank you for all you help. I appreciate that you were on top
of
this problem without letting up. It is hard to find dedicated
people today and I for one recognize your effort.
In this package, I am returning to you the original M5900
Wand.
At this point I am not sure what went wrong and why. After
receiving the NEW wand, I loaded it with the Keiser-7.ap5 file along
with the current item.csv and location.csf files. We tested
it
and it worked without a hitch.
I got the
bright idea to try and re-load this original wand and it also loaded
without any incidents and after testing it, it also worked fine.
Steve Miller was very pleased with the inventory test and especially
with the fact that we were able to give him a report (in Access) for
immediately sending out the auditors to re-test a dozen
items.
And of course once I beat the info against the cost per item from the
Timberline data files and then gave him a report showing him a total of
some $21,7xx.00 and all within the 30 minutes of completion of the
inventory, well that was the icing on the cake. He sounded
ecstatic to forward the results to Dave Cuttler, the CEO.
I suspect that next week you will receive an order for another wand and
then maybe an order for several ensuing months for more
wands.
Please, please be sure that we get the same model even if AML starts
crankign out newer models so that there is no confusion at this end.
